Enter The 2007 Festival Photo Contest Now
or at any time before August 1, 2007 and compete for the prizes listed below.

Technical Stuff:
Entries must be in color with prints plus negatives for film cameras or prints plus image file for digital cameras. Regardless of technology, the end result must be a color print that is clear and sharp. Photos may be of previous years.

Please do not print captions on the photos.  If you want your materials returned, please include a self-addressed, self-stamped envelope with your entry.

The Judges & What They are Looking for:
The judges are public relations professionals who are looking for photos to be used for future festival publicity:  posters, press releases, web site, etc.

The judges are especially looking for photos of step dancers, preferably while they are dancing, and shots of athletes during Gaelic and highland games (watch out for that hammer!).  Close-up shots filling most of the frame with the subject are preferable.  While photos of individual amateur musicians will be considered, we do not need photos of the featured professional entertainers at the festival.  Interesting and adorable shots of people enjoying the festival are welcome.  Photos of people drinking beer are not.

All photos must be from the CT Irish Festival & Feis.

Who Can Participate?
With the exception of professional photographers, anyone can participate in this contest.  You do not have to belong to our club.

Photo Ids:
Names and towns of people in the photos are helpful for publicity purposes.
